Privacy
At ChatTijd.nl we take your privacy very seriously. We always have, but the European Privacy Law (General Data Protection Regulation) has made us tighten things up even further. You'll notice this because images uploaded by profile holders are blurred when you're not logged in. You must also always tick a box when logging in to the chat to confirm you agree to our rules and the way we handle privacy.
To be fully transparent, here's a summary of what data we keep and for what purpose.
What we keep:
- Cookies (regular cookies that help us and make the chat and profile site work properly. You can still chat without cookies, but certain features - such as automatically ignoring chatters - won't work).
- IP addresses (we are required to keep these so that law enforcement can, if necessary, request data on visitors who break the law, think internet criminals, scammers etc.).
- The (personal) details you enter when creating and editing your profile.
One thing is certain: your data is NEVER sold or viewed by third parties for commercial purposes! This applies to all our websites. If you have any questions about your privacy, you can always contact our data protection officer, registered with the Dutch Data Protection Authority: privacy@chattijd.nl.
Photos, films and webcam
Uploading films
- It is forbidden to upload films to which third-party rights are attached.
- Note: films with music in the background will also be removed by us due to copyright.
- Films may not show children (or any reference to them).
- Films may not show sex with animals.
- Films may not contain advertising or a web address leading to competitors of our sponsor.
- Films may not mention email addresses or phone numbers.
- For uploads of files larger than 15MB, the normal CT's that apply to an upload will be charged.
- ChatTijd.nl is entitled to adjust the CT value of a film. The correct value is stated on the upload page.
- When an administrator of ChatTijd.nl believes the content of a film is inappropriate, they can remove it from the site.
Webcam footage
- It is forbidden to display recorded footage in this section of the site.
- Recordings may not show children (or any reference to them).
- No unnecessary webcam use, such as pointing the cam at walls, PCs, animals, ceilings etc.
- ChatTijd.nl is entitled to adjust the CT value of a webcam recording. The correct value is stated on the recording page.
- When an administrator of ChatTijd.nl believes the content of a webcam recording is inappropriate, they can remove it from the site.
Profile photos
You can upload 5 different photos to your profile for free. If your Norton or firewall is set too strictly, the upload button sometimes doesn't appear - in that case, temporarily close the program to see if this fixes the problem. This is a sex chat site, so we consider it inappropriate for children to be (partially) shown in photos. It is therefore not allowed to upload such photos. If we find such photos, we will remove them from your profile immediately.
No paedophilia/child pornography
If either of these two matters is detected, the child pornography reporting point (www.meldpunt.org) and the police (www.meldpuntcybercrime.nl) will be notified immediately.
CT's
As a reward for regular visitors to this site, CT's can be earned.
- These CT's are non-transferable.
- CT's expire when a user decides to delete their profile.
CT's can be earned by:
- Buying them via a paid phone call.
- A reward for viewing a profile (max. 25 CT's per day).
- Logging in every 24 hours.
CT's can be spent/reduced by:
- Uploading extra photos (when you want to upload more than 25 photos).
- Uploading extra films.
- Recording extra webcam footage.
- Reserving space for your diary images.
- When you haven't logged in for more than 3 days, 5 CT's per day will be deducted from your balance.

Chat conduct rules
Bestiality
Officially, bestiality is not yet forbidden in the Netherlands, but various media have indicated that bestiality has been forbidden since 1 January 2009. Therefore, since 1 January 2009, it is no longer allowed to log in with references to animals in your chat name, bio or profile. Uploading photos and films about bestiality in your profile has always been forbidden.
No capital letters
No unnecessary use of capital letters.
No swearing
No swearing with diseases, foul language and the like. Swearing with certain diseases can even result in an immediate ban.
No racism
Racism and/or discrimination in any form is not allowed here.
No repetitions
It is not allowed to repeat sentences or long strings of characters.
Extra letters before your chat name
It is not allowed to put extra letters such as A, a1, aaa etc. before your name to rank higher in the list.
Sexist remarks
We are a sex chat site, so if you're bothered by sexist remarks, you should definitely not log in.
No other chat programmes
We are a chat site where it is not allowed to log in through any way other than ChatTijd.nl. If this is found to be the case, action will be taken. It is not allowed, either in chat or in profiles, to mention other chat programmes/sites.
Help/management by operators
The people with an operator icon before their name are the so-called Operators, who can help you and, if necessary, remove abusive users etc.
Commercial users
The option to log in commercially is limited to paydates. Only camgirls from our sponsor IsLive/Webcamladies are granted access to our site. Reporting URLs remains forbidden at all times. Expressing commerce (paydates etc.) is only allowed when you are logged in as a commercial chatter. You can recognise a commercial chatter by a € sign after the chatter's name. If you want to log in as a webcam girl and are affiliated with the IsLive programme, you can send an email to info@chattijd.nl for more information. It is not allowed to offer money when sending it to 'regular' chatters.
Helping banned chatters
Chatters are not banned without reason. If it is found that a chatter is helping a banned chatter (e.g. letting someone with a ban log in on your PC), that chatter will also be immediately and irrevocably banned.
Other rules
Diaries
On this site you can write a diary weblog with, for example, your (sexual) experiences, poems etc. In a diary you can create a link to, for example, an external site. It is not allowed to place links to commercial sites. Mentioning MSN addresses is also not allowed. When creating a weblog, keep in mind that you are on a sex site here - weblogs about everyday life can be posted anywhere on the internet, here we'd like sexually themed diary weblogs. An operator reviews the diaries. If the operator does not approve the weblog, the reason can be read in the weblog overview. The operator's decision cannot be discussed.
No advertising
References, URLs and links to other sites are not allowed. Software has been added for this purpose that immediately places a server ban when a URL or link known to us is given.
Phone numbers
Because we cannot verify whether a sent/stored phone number belongs to the relevant chatter/profile holder, it is not allowed to mention a phone number in chat or in profiles.
Minimum age
We are a sex chat site and want to keep things pleasant, so a minimum age of 18 applies to this site. Anyone found to be younger will be removed without mercy by our operators.
Not following the rules?
Things operators warn you about that aren't in these rules should also be followed - only the most important points are listed here. Members who do not follow the rules are removed by the Operators. This can be temporary, but your chat rights as a Member could also be disabled. This means you no longer have access to ChatTijd.nl. We have the right to remove a profile and/or account at any time and for any reason.
Comments and suggestions
The Operators do not enter into discussion about the rules, their enforcement and the associated measures. Suggestions are always noted. We listen to our chatters, so if you have questions, comments or remarks, don't keep them to yourself, but speak to one of our operators.
Chat logs
Our chat logs can be reviewed by our operators so they can assess whether a chatter follows the chat rules. Normally chat logs are not kept longer than 24 hours, unless legal irregularities are found.
Liability
ChatTijd.nl will check the content of the site through regular checks and will thus do everything possible to combat irregularities. ChatTijd.nl therefore accepts no liability whatsoever for the content of this site.
Technical help
Default browser settings
ChatTijd.nl works well with all browsers. If you do experience problems with the chat functioning, this is usually because you have changed your browser settings. You can restore this fairly easily - instructions for the major browsers can be found here:
Accepting cookies
If your browser does not accept cookies from us, you can still chat, but certain features may not work properly. Accepting cookies is a setting in your browser; you can read how to adjust this and an independent explanation of what cookies are exactly at browserchecker.nl.
Webcam problems in chat
We (still) use flash to display and broadcast the webcams. You therefore need a device that supports flash. When you turn on the cam, your computer sends the data of the device selected in flash. If these settings do not match the webcam you use, it will not work in chat. Once you turn on your webcam, you can change the settings by right-clicking on your newly opened image:
- Go to "settings".
- Click on the webcam to get a list of all imaging devices ever connected to your computer.
- Once you have selected the correct device, your cam will work in chat.
macromedia.com clearly explains how to adjust your settings. If you can't select any devices in Google Chrome (PC), Chrome doesn't have permission to use your webcam - follow the instructions under "Default browser settings" above for this. If you have an Apple computer and your webcam doesn't work, check the 'FaceTime' program to see if flash has permission to receive your images.
Installing Flash on your Android tablet
Webcam footage is (still) sent by our server to a flash object. Android has not supported flash by default since version 4.0, but flash can fortunately still be installed manually - tabletsmagazine.nl has an explanation. After this you can once again enjoy the webcams on ChatTijd.nl or turn on your own webcam.
Clearing/deleting cache memory
Your browser keeps track of which websites you've visited and should also clear this regularly. Unfortunately this doesn't always happen, causing disruptions such as a blank page when you try to open the chat or profiles. We always advise clearing your cache memory manually - browserchecker.nl explains how to do this per browser type.
Screen resolution
This site is best viewed with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels.
